Raphaele Chappe is Founder and CEO of PeerHood–a blockchain based P2P capital
market for small and medium sized businesses, which provides decentralized
investment banking services by way of an elegant fusion of Smart Tools and Social
Tools. Raphaele is currently ABD in Economics at The New School for Social
Research, working on financial markets and wealth accumulation and distribution.
She teaches at NYU Tandon School of Engineering and The Brooklyn Institute For
Social Research. Prior to bootstrapping PeerHood, Raphaele practiced law for eight
years in the financial services industry. In her last position, was as Vice President at
Goldman Sachs in the Tax Department.
