David Thomson has over twenty five years experience in the high tech industry working for a wide variety of companies in a range of industries, particularly in finance and health care. In the financial sphere, he has worked on highly innovative software systems for hedge funds, broker dealers, venture capital and private equity firms. In the healthcare sphere, he led the implementation of Salesforce at UCSF, including the world’s first integration with the Epic EMR, and has also been a longtime adviser for the Fluxtream personal data “Quantified Self” platform. Most recently, he served as the head of research and development for MuleSoft, provider of the open source Mule integration kernel that powers 40% of the Fortune 1000, including six of the top ten banks in the world. He is also an adviser to numerous startups and enjoys connecting people.
